Birney's Division offers a great opportunity for individual Federal Civil War reenacting units to become part of a larger family. We welcome all Union companies no matter how big or small. The organization is respectful of the autonomy of each unit, while providing coherent leadership and structure in the field.
 
As part of the First Federal Division, Birney's enjoys outstanding placement at large national events. Often seen as one of the "hardest fighting" organizations in the Union reenacting community, Birney's is most likely to be seen at the hottest part of the battle.
