DIVISION INSURANCE 2024-2025

All units and staff personnel belonging to and reenacting as part of Birney's Division are required to carry insurance in the event of injury or other mishaps that may occur in camp or on the field. This insurance coverage can either be obtained privately, or units/personnel may choose to obtain insurance through Birney's Division.

To the Officers, Soldiers, Civilians and Friends of Birney’s Division,
I hope this letter finds you all well and in good spirits. Winter quarters will soon be ending and the campaigns of 2023 will be upon us. It’s time to polish the brass, clean the rifle, and locate all of the camping gear that has been tucked in the corner. I am looking forward to seeing my reenacting family in camp and on the field.
The Division will again be providing the member units the benefit of obtaining Liability Insurance. The cost will remain $15.00 per person this year. Please ensure that your unit submits your 2024-25 renewal with remittance NO LATER THAN MAY 26, 2024. Please use the form provided on the “insurance” tab of the Birney’s Division website when submitting your unit’s Liability Insurance information and fee. IF YOUR UNIT HAS CHOSEN TO OBTAIN THEIR OWN LIABILITY INSURANCE, THE DIVISION MUST BE PROVIDED WITH A COPY OF PROOF OF INSURANCE TO BE KEPT ON FILE.
